NBCC Ltd will create the world's tallest statue of Maharana Pratap in Haldighati, Rajasthan. The project is part of a Rs 168 crore tourist circuit to promote the region's historical significance. A world-class museum will showcase the legendary warrior and his horse, Chetak. An immersive projection show will highlight the historical events from the Battle of Haldighati. The circuit aims to enhance Haldighati's appeal as a heritage and tourism destination.

State-owned NBCC Ltd will develop a Rs 168.39 crore tourist circuit at Haldighati in Rajasthan, which will feature the world's tallest statue of Maharana Pratap, as part of the state government's efforts to promote its historical and cultural heritage.

In a statement on Monday, NBCC said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, and the Rajasthan Heritage Authority (RHA) for the development of the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit at Haldighati.

Under the agreement, NBCC will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, operating and maintaining the identified works.

The project has been sanctioned by the Rajasthan government at a cost of Rs 168.39 crore, excluding GST. This includes a project management consultancy (PMC) fee of 4.25% of the actual project cost.

A key feature of the proposed tourist circuit will be the construction of the world's tallest statue of Maharana Pratap, the ruler of the Kingdom of Mewar, at Haldighati. The development will also include a historical museum depicting the legendary warrior riding his iconic horse, Chetak, NBCC said.

The project will also feature a topographical projection show at the Haldighati Memorial, presenting the historical significance and events of the Battle of Haldighati through an immersive visual experience.

NBCC said the tourist circuit is expected to enhance Haldighati's standing as a heritage and tourism destination, attract visitors from across the world and support the local economy.
