Two returning directors and two incoming directors bring experience, fresh perspectives, and a commitment to collaboration to the Board term that began October 1.
Lees Summit, MO, November 03, 2026 --(PR.com)-- The International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG) announces the results of its 2026 Board of Directors election, with members unanimously approving four candidates for three-year terms beginning October 1, 2026. Lisa Alban and Kim Julen were re-elected, while Carole Hyder and former director Frankie Hickson joined the Board alongside continuing directors. The election brings together established leadership and additional perspectives to guide the Guild’s work in advancing the practice, teaching, and use of Feng Shui worldwide.
“As September closes and we prepare for a new Board term, I’m feeling energized by the experience and fresh perspectives coming together within our Guild,” Board Chair Lisa Alban wrote in her announcement to members. “There is something special about welcoming people into this work while appreciating those who have helped carry it forward.”
Carole Hyder brings decades of experience as a Feng Shui practitioner, educator, and author, including her founding of the Wind & Water School of Feng Shui. Frankie Hickson, who previously served on the IFSG Board from 2017 to 2020, returns with a thoughtful commitment to collaboration across Feng Shui schools and perspectives. Alban and Julen continue their service, providing continuity and experience as the Board begins its new term.
The Guild also recognizes Michelle Skally Doilney, who completed her Board term on September 30. Through her leadership of the Education Committee, Doilney supported IFSG schools and strengthened connections between Feng Shui education and the wider professional community. She will continue contributing through 2027 on the newly renamed Schools Committee.
The 2026 election process was guided by Tori McBrien, Catherine Dean, Tanya Hames, and IFSG CEO Deb DermyerLamb.
The Board’s work supports a global community of Feng Shui professionals, students, and schools through professional resources, educational opportunities, member connections, and public outreach. Its combination of continuing and incoming directors will help the Guild build on that work while responding to the evolving needs of its members and the profession.
