Analysts say a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices

Globally, silver was trading 1.01% down at $54.01 per ounce in New York.

Silver prices on Friday fell by ₹4,191 to ₹1,95,408 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery declined by ₹4,191, or 2.1 per cent, to ₹1,95,408 per kg in a business turnover of 5,856 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading 1.01 per cent down at $54.01 per ounce in New York.
